"Painting keeps me alive. It’s an obsession that leans toward exploring variations of color, shape and line, but that ultimately results in solving a puzzle of my own making. At any given time the work can be changed to meet my latest expectation, but one day, when I tell myself I love it, it feels finished. Then moving on to a new painting is my only option."
